PHOTOCHEMICAL
FILTRATION SERVICE
Liquid hazardous waste effluent is a by-product of processing diagnostic
X-ray film. The hazardous constituent is silver, a component of film
that makes it possible to form an image. During processing the silver
is removed from the film and goes into the fixer. A small amount of
silver may be carried over into the wash water and developer depending
on the processing method used (example; manual dip tanks, older equipment).
This effluent must meet local, state, and federal discharge limits prior
disposal into septic or public sewer. Without filtration of this liquid
photochemical waste, discharge will exceed those limits.
HCS
offers the latest technology that enables the photochemical waste to
be filtered, removing waste silver to meet and exceed local, state and
federal discharge limits. This unit is easy to install, highly cost
effective and comes with a method of disposal/recycling for your convenience
at one low cost.
HCS
filtration units can be ordered for fast delivery and come with return
recycling service. Please select from the menu for application and type
service desired then complete the order form for delivery.
